Daily Discipleship

DNA Daily ("the App") is a discipleship tool built by ARK Identity. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.
When you create an account or sign in using Google or Discord, we collect your email address, display name, and profile picture (if provided by the OAuth provider).
Your journal entries, prayer records, and challenge progress are stored locally on your device and synced to our secure database (hosted by Supabase) when you are signed in.
We may collect basic usage analytics such as pages visited and feature usage to improve the app experience. We do not track you across other websites or apps.
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, which provides encryption at rest and in transit. Authentication is handled through Supabase Auth with industry-standard OAuth 2.0 protocols. We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties.

Each of these services has their own privacy policies governing their use of data.
If you choose "Connect Google Calendar," Daily DNA asks Google for permission to create one calendar named "Daily DNA" in your Google account and manage the events in it. We use that permission only to put your daily routine times and the events you choose to add in the app on that calendar, to update them when your routine or an event changes, and to delete that calendar if you disconnect. We do not read, change or delete any of your other calendars or events, and we do not use your calendar data for anything else.
We store the access Google gives us in encrypted form, and we also keep your Google account's email address so you can see which calendar is connected. Neither is shared with anyone. You can disconnect at any time from Settings → My calendar in the app, which deletes the Daily DNA calendar and the access; you can also remove Daily DNA's access from your Google Account settings.
Daily DNA's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

The App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of any significant changes through the app or via email.
